Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the Tradr Loop mobile application and the systems it connects to (together, the "App"). The App is provided by Tradr Loop (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa ("Tradr Loop", "we", "us" or "our").

The App is for authorised users only. It is a work tool for Tradr Loop employees, sales representatives, agents, contractors and business partners who have been given an account by us. It is not offered to the general public, and you cannot sign up for it yourself.

1. Accepting these Terms

By signing in to or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are in addition to any employment contract, agent agreement, contractor agreement or other written agreement you have with us (your "Agreement"). If these Terms conflict with your Agreement, your Agreement wins.

2. Who may use the App

  • Only people we have given an account to may use the App.
  • You may use the App only for work you do for, or with, Tradr Loop.
  • We may change what you can see and do in the App to match your role, and we may suspend or close your account at any time, for example when your Agreement ends.

3. Your account and login

  • Keep your login details (including your password and any one-time PIN) private. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.
  • You are responsible for what is done in the App under your account.
  • Tell your manager or our support contact straight away if you think someone else has used your account or your phone has been lost or stolen.

4. How you must use the App

You agree to:

  • capture information truthfully and accurately, including shop visits, stock, SIM card and sales records, photos, surveys and customer details;
  • capture customer information, including RICA information, only with the customer's knowledge and only as the law allows;
  • follow all applicable laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication-Related Information Act 70 of 2002 (RICA); and
  • follow our instructions and policies that apply to your role.

You must not:

  • record false visits, false locations, false sales or false photos, or change information to increase your earnings;
  • copy, share or sell information from the App, including customer, shop or pricing information, except as your work requires;
  • try to get around security, access parts of the App you have not been given access to, or interfere with how the App works; or
  • copy, change or reverse engineer the App.

5. Location, camera and device

To work properly, the App uses your phone's location, camera and storage. For example, it uses them to confirm shop visits and to take photos of stock and coolers. You are responsible for your phone, its operating system and the mobile data you use, unless your Agreement says otherwise. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice.

6. Earnings, commission and statements

Figures shown in the App, such as targets, allocations, commission, incentives and statements, are for your information. They are worked out from the records captured in our systems and can be corrected if those records are wrong or incomplete. What you are paid is decided by your Agreement and by our final payment run. We may hold or adjust a payment if records are under review or appear to break these Terms.

7. Ownership

The App, its content and all information captured in it belong to Tradr Loop or our partners. We give you a limited, personal right to use the App for your work with us while your account is active. You get no other rights in the App.

8. Availability and changes

We try to keep the App working and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or free of interruptions. We may update, change or stop any part of the App at any time. You may need to install updates to keep using it.

9. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Tradr Loop is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss caused by your use of, or inability to use, the App, including lost income, lost data or device costs. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end your access if your Agreement ends, if you break these Terms, or if we need to protect our systems, customers or partners. Sections 4, 6, 7 and 9 keep applying after your access ends.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Law that applies

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of South Africa.
